Planned Giving
Planned giving is finding ways to make charitable gifts now or after your lifetime while enjoying financial benefits for yourself.
Planned gifts are sometimes referred to as "stop-and-think" gifts because they require some planning and, often, help from your professional advisors. Unlike cash donations, they are typically made from assets in your estate rather than disposable income, and come to fruition upon your death.
Make a Pledge
You can structure your gift to be paid over a period that best suits your financial situation. Many of our donors chose to pledge a set amount over several months or years. The Summit Council
Donors who attain Summit Council Lifetime Membership ($10,000 +) will be recognized permanently on the Foundation recognition display in the Artwalk Way off the Hospital's main lobby. Donors giving at the annual level will have their names placed on the Annual Membership board for one year. The Longmont United Hospital Foundation also recognizes cumulative giving; therefore, a donor may achieve higher recognition levels over time. Donors who achieve either Lifetime membership or give $1,000 or more in one calendar year are invited to our Honorary Summit Council Dinner in November.
