The Longmont United Hospital Foundation is dedicated exclusively to supporting healthcare services at Longmont United Hospital through philanthropy. One of the primary goals of the Foundation is to help ensure that Longmont United Hospital will have the best possible facilities and equipment to help you and your loved ones when medical care is needed. Healthcare Career Scholarships/Loans
We also believe the foundation of an excellent hospital is its Employees. Your gifts will help keep Longmont United Hospital competitive and attract the best employees. The Foundation offers merit-based scholarships/loans to students desiring to pursue educational opportunities for careers in the healthcare field in a hospital setting. As of June 2010, 228 Scholarships have been awarded to 144 deserving students totaling $500,823. Scholarships will vary in amount depending on the individual applicants and funds available. Awards are given for tuition assistance only. To be eligible, all pre-requisite course work must be completed and the applicant must already be accepted into their program of study. Applications are available the first week in January and due back the last business day in March each year.
