About Longmont United Hospital
Longmont United Hospital is dedicated to making our communities a better place to live, work, and raise a family -- one patient at a time. That dedication transcends our programs, treatments, services and our staff. It means providing our patients with extraordinary, sophisticated and state of the art care close to your home or workplace with unique treatment options that honor the whole person and enhance the healing experience.
The expertise of the over 280 highly qualified physicians on staff, our caring employees and the latest medical tools and technologies allow us to provide sophisticated services in an environment optimal to healing.
Healthcare at Longmont United Hospital is more than treating a patient's physical needs. Health, wellness and healing require the gentle understanding of the powerful connection between a patient's body, mind and spirit.
The soul soothing rhythms played by our music therapists, our family dining rooms on each floor or the healing massages offered to our patients are just a few examples of the unique options to enhance healing.
Our philosophy, known as Planetree, is tangible and teachable. This Planetree philosophy empowers patients and their families to be involved in decisions affecting their care. We listen to our patients and structure care around their needs and desires. Planning and developing our programs and services includes input from our communities, physicians, staff and patients. This input gives us the opportunity to increase the wellness of our communities and put the patient's needs first.
Our dedication to improving the health and well-being of the communities and people we serve will always be our number one goal.

Longmont United Hospital holds Schwartz Center Rounds
Schwartz Center Rounds are a multi-disciplinary forum where clinical caregivers gather, in a confidential setting, to discuss their experiences, thoughts, and feelings related to patient care. The premise of the Kenneth B. Schwartz Center is that "caregivers are better able to make a personal connection with patients when they have a greater awareness and insight into their own responses and feelings."
Longmont United Hospital continues its commitment to practice the Planetree philosophy of total wellness and is a resource for the communities it serves.
